T&K Attorney Honored as "Outstanding Lawyer Under 40" by Cardozo Society
Dallas - The global law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to congratulate Partner Manuel Rajunov-Tawil on being honored as an "Outstanding Lawyer Under 40" for 2009 by the Cardozo Society of the Jewish Federation's Attorneys Division. The selection process was based on recommendations from top members of the profession and focused on talented young lawyers of varying levels who have demonstrated the maturity, balance, intellect, and charisma to become the next generation of leaders in the profession and the community.
Mr. Rajunov is licensed to practice law in Mexico and focuses his practice on international tax and business matters related to operations, expansion, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures worldwide. His expertise encompasses representing foreign investors doing business in Mexico and South America as well as international tax planning for U.S. and Latin America-based multinationals. He is an active member of the community, holding membership in the Dallas Chamber of Commerce, World Affairs Council of Greater Dallas, Dallas Council on Foreign Relations, and U.S./Mexico Chamber of Commerce.

The Cardozo Society was founded by the Attorneys Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas to strengthen relationships among the Jewish lawyers in Dallas by promoting community service, education, and leadership. It is also intended to help address Jewish perspectives on current legal matters and strengthen relationships among lawyers by fostering religious and cultural enrichment between Jewish lawyers and the public at-large. The Cardozo Society is named in honor of the late Supreme Court Justice Benjamin N. Cardozo, whose decisions reflected his dedication to public welfare.
