T&K Attorneys Selected for 2017 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellowship and Pathfinders Program

Dallas - The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Nicole Williams and Jasmine S. Wynton have been selected to participate in Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (“LCLD”) programs in 2017. Ms. Williams will participate in LCLD’s Fellowship, a year-long leadership program offering participants the opportunity to build relationships and leadership skills by connecting with and learning from top general counsels and managing partners from across the nation. Ms. Wynton will participate in LCLD’s Pathfinder program, which is designed to provide diverse, high-potential, early career attorneys with practical tools for developing and leveraging relationship building skills, foundational leadership skills, and career development strategies.

Ms. Williams is a Partner in the Trial Practice Group of Thompson & Knight’s Dallas office, and focuses her practice on litigation and counseling on matters involving antitrust, advertising, RICO, gaming, banking, title curative issues, and other complex commercial disputes and government investigations. She represents clients before federal and state trial and appellate courts as well as in arbitration proceedings. She has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® by Woodward/White Inc. (2016-2017), Texas Super Lawyers® by Thomson Reuters (2014-2016), and “Under 40 Hot List” by Benchmark: Litigation, The Definitive Guide to America's Leading Litigation Firms & Attorneys (2016). Ms. Williams is actively involved in her community. For example, she serves as Vice Chair of the Dallas Judicial Nomination Commission, fosters the development of Dallas youth as a Mock Trial Coach at James Madison High School, and is Secretary of the Executive Board of Directors for Rainbow Days.

Ms. Wynton is a Trial Associate in the Firm’s Dallas office. She represents clients in complex commercial disputes at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts across the country. She has experience defending companies and individuals in False Claims Act qui tam actions, state and local tax disputes, and government investigations. In addition, she represents clients in employment law matters. Ms. Wynton is a member of the Federal, Texas, and Dallas Bar Associations, and the Junior League of Dallas. She is a past director and current chair of the Membership Committee for the J.L. Turner Legal Association, and has been an associate member of the Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court.

Ms. Wynton will serve as the Firm’s first LCLD Pathfinder.
