David Rusk focuses his practice on real estate and banking matters. He represents clients in negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases (office, retail, and industrial), and construction-related contracts. Additionally, he represents U.S. and foreign lenders in a variety of lending transactions, including real estate, commercial and industrial, and energy.
- Represented developer in connection with $130 million loan secured by 13-property industrial portfolio
- Represented multinational convenience store chain in its Texas acquisitions, dispositions, and ground leases
- Represented Houston-based developer in acquisition and development of rail-served business parks
- Represented Houston landlord in office lease involving 190,000 square feet and total rent of over $52 million
- Represented national bank in personal and business loans to high-wealth individuals
- Represented Texas bank in structuring and documenting middle market loans secured by real estate, accounts, inventory, marine vessels, and aircraft
- Represented foreign bank in negotiation and documentation of a $900 million reserve-based facility
