What aspects of your work keep you motivated and satisfied? I am grateful beyond measure to work with many colleagues and clients whom I consider some of my very best friends. When you work with people you both like and respect, it makes your work exponentially enjoyable and satisfying.
What activities do you enjoy outside the office? At this point in my life, my “outside of the office” time is taken up by raising my 15-year-old twins who are actively engaged in high school sports. When I’m not watching volleyball, football, and lacrosse games, I spend time with a wonderful group of girlfriends and my twin bull mastiffs, Hank and Mack. Our family also loves to travel, and we’ve been to places like Honduras (where we love to scuba dive), Thailand, Bali, Costa Rica, Dubai, and Belize, among others.
If you weren’t an attorney, what career would you choose? If I weren’t working as an attorney in a law firm, I would spend my time working with a non-profit that focuses on one of the many areas I’m passionate about, whether it’s human rights, food insecurity, or women’s healthcare and related issues.
