David Bennett, Cassandra Shoemaker Mentioned in Law360 on Endeavour

“Endeavour Creditors Move To Wipe Out $440M Lenders”

Unsecured creditors faced with meager recoveries in Endeavour Operating Corp.’s bankruptcy sprung a proposed lawsuit Friday looking to extinguish $440 million in obligations to senior hedge fund lenders under an allegedly improper prebankruptcy refinancing.

Court papers filed in Delaware bankruptcy court asked for authorization from U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Carey for Endeavour’s official committee of unsecured creditors to bring a lawsuit on behalf of the oil and gas firm against the bank lenders helping finance its restructuring effort.

The unsecured creditors are represented by Neil B. Glassman, Scott D. Cousins and Evan T. Miller of Bayard PA and David M. Bennett and Cassandra Sepanik Shoemaker of Thompson & Knight LLP.
