Thompson & Knight Announces New Corporate and Securities Practice Group Leader

DALLAS, Texas – Thompson & Knight LLP has named Jeremiah Mayfield as the Firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group Leader.

“Jeremiah has played an integral role in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group for many years, and he possesses a skillset that will help us capture additional opportunities in the marketplace,” said Mark M. Mr. Mayfield has spent his entire career at Thompson & Knight and most recently served as the chair of the Firm’s Private Equity Cross-Practice Group. His practice focuses on representing private investment fund sponsors in structuring and forming private equity investment funds and other corporate and securities matters, including joint ventures, financings, private equity transactions, and domestic and cross-border M&A. He represents both public and private clients in a variety of industries including energy, technology, manufacturing, transportation, real estate, financial services, and healthcare.
