DALLAS — Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Nadia E. Haghighatian has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Dallas LGBT Bar Association (DLGBTBA). She will serve as Vice President of Programming. Her term began May 2019.
Ms. Haghighatian is an Associate in the Firm’s Dallas office and a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group, where she focuses her practice on patent disputes covering various technologies (including software, telecommunications, electrical, mechanical, and semiconductor) as well as disputes involving trademarks, trade secrets, and unfair competition. She received her J.D., with highest honors, from Texas Tech University School of Law (2013) and her B.S in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin (2008).
In addition to her involvement with the DLGBTBA, Ms. Haghighatian was selected for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder Program in 2019. She is a member of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association, Iranian American Bar Association, and Young Professionals Advisory Council for Dallas’s LGBTQ Resource Center and has been named to Texas Rising Stars® by Thomson Reuters for Intellectual Property Litigation (2018-2019).
