DALLAS – Thompson & Knight LLP Associate Nadia E. Haghighatian has been recognized as one of the Best LGBTQ+ Lawyers Under 40 in 2021 by the National LGBT Bar Association and Foundation. The award annually identifies LGBTQ+ lawyers who have distinguished themselves in their field and demonstrate a profound commitment to LGBTQ+ equality.
Ms. Haghighatian will be recognized for her accomplishments at the Lavender Law® Conference and Career Fair in July 2021.
Ms. Haghighatian is an Associate in the Firm’s Dallas office and a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group, where she specializes in intellectual property litigation. She received her J.D., with highest honors, from Texas Tech University School of Law (2013) and her B.S in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin (2008).
Ms. Haghighatian currently serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Dallas LGBT Bar Association and is the Association’s former Vice President of Programming. She was recently voted onto the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers (DAYL) Board of Directors and will serve as the Dallas LGBT Bar Association Representative for DAYL. She was selected to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder Program in 2019. Ms. Haghighatian has been named to Texas Rising Stars® by Thomson Reuters for Intellectual Property Litigation (2018-2020) and the inaugural edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for Litigation—Intellectual Property.
