Thompson & Knight Awarded Two Deal of the Year Awards by the Association for Corporate Growth Houston

HOUSTON, Texas — The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Houston has awarded Thompson & Knight and its clients with two Deal of the Year awards. Marking its fourth annual year, the awards celebrate Houston’s booming middle-market deal community and honor the deals and dealmakers who drive middle-market growth resulting in job growth, capital formation, and the advancement of meaningful business relationships.

Thompson & Knight and its clients received Deal of the Year awards in the following categories:

  • Industrial, Power & Infrastructure (Strategic): ORIX Capital Partners Acquisition of Special Welding and Turnarounds, LLC

Thompson & Knight represented Cadence Bank N.A., who served as the Administrative Agent for the related senior credit facilities. The Firm’s deal team included Cassandra Mott, Parker Pritchett, Kelsie Knight, Katie Gerber, Ashley Phillips and Jason Loden.

  • Recapitalization: Warren Equity Partners with USA Water to Acquire Si Environmental

Thompson & Knight represented USA Water LLC in the formation and funding of a new national water and wastewater services and utility business, including the solicitation of private equity sponsors. As part of the formation, the company acquired Si Environmental, LLC. The Firm’s deal team included Robert Eickenroht, Nathan Stone, Katie Gerber, Tony Campiti, and Jason Loden.
