T&K Partner Receives Savvy Sister Award from Houston Woman Magazine

Liggins has been selected to receive the Savvy Sister Award at the 12th Annual HER Awards Luncheon by Houston Woman Magazine. The Savvy Sister Award is bestowed upon a woman who has made a significant career change, interesting business maneuver, or an innovative change to her workplace.

Ms. Liggins is a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Partner in the Firm’s Houston office. She has nearly two decades of experience in business finance and restructuring for a variety of large and small public and private companies. As a trusted business advisor, Ms. Liggins partners with her clients to identify and achieve their goals in the bankruptcy process, navigating through complex corporate reorganizations and distressed acquisitions. She is a frequent speaker on bankruptcy and finance-related topics, in addition to speaking on career goals, branding, and mentorship to minority and female audiences ranging from established professionals to students.

Recognized for her legal work, Ms. Liggins has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® by Woodward/White Inc. (2018), Texas Super Lawyers® by Thomson Reuters (2016-2017), Law Firm Rainmakers by Diversity & the Bar (2011), and Houston’s “Top Lawyers” by H Texas magazine (2010-2013, 2015-2016).
