Thompson & Knight Receives National Recognition for Women in Leadership Roles

DALLAS — With female attorneys comprising half of the Firm’s 2019 Partner class, Thompson & Knight LLP is among 51 law firms nationwide to be recognized with the Tipping the Scales Award from the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance. The award was presented at the organization’s annual conference on November 7 in Washington, D.C.

Earlier this year the Firm announced the election of eight attorneys to Partner: Those attorneys are C. Walker Brierre, Stephen W. Grant Jr., Mitchell L. Griffith, David Lawrence, Lee Meyercord, Jessica S. Morrison, Meghan Nylin, and Megan H. Schmid.

“We place great importance on maintaining a culture and policies that recognize the importance of diversity and the professional and personal needs of every attorney,” said Jennifer Rudenick Ecklund, Chair of the Women’s Initiative Group and Partner in the Firm’s Trial Practice. “It’s gratifying that this commitment results in being recognized among the nation’s leaders for the legal profession.”
