DALLAS — For the second consecutive year, Thompson & Knight is recognized among 46 law firms nationwide with the 2020 “Tipping the Scales Award” from the Diversity & Flexibility Alliance for having 50 percent or more women in the 2020 new partner class. The award was presented at the organization’s annual conference on November 5 in Washington, D.C.
The Firm’s 2020 Partner class consisted of four attorneys elected to Partner. Those attorneys are Emily W. Miller, Anthony F. Pirraglia, Matthew H. Swerdlow, and Mackenzie S. Wallace.
“We are passionate about fostering a culture that welcomes, respects, and draws upon a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives,” said Mark M. Sloan, the Firm’s Managing Partner. “We are thrilled our dedication to equality and inclusion is being recognized for the second consecutive year. While we have more work to do, we are inspired by our team and our shared commitment toward progress.”
