Dallas Office

Maddie Giese (Corporate and Securities) received a J.D., summa cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law (2019) and a B.A. in Strategic Communication with a minor in Political Science from Texas Christian University (2015). She previously served as a Public Relations Consultant for LDWW Group (2015-2016) and a Court Intern for Tarrant County Criminal Court #7 (2014).

Allie LeVan (Real Estate and Banking) received a J.D., high honors, from The University of Texas School of Law (2019) and a B.S., with highest honors, in Public Relations from The University of Texas (2015). She previously served as an Intern with Brand Agent (2014-2015) and LIVESTRONG (2014).

Nicole Miller (Trial) received a J.D., magna cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law (2019) and a B.A. in Communication and Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (2007). She previously served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Martin Hoffman, 68th District Court in Dallas County (2017).

Javan T.M. Porter (Trial) received a J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law (2019) and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Mississippi (2014).

Claire Sager (Corporate and Securities) received a J.D., magna cum laude, from SMU Dedman School of Law (2019) and a B.A. in Communications from Santa Clara University (2016). She previously served as a Summer Intern with the Collin County District Attorney’s Office (2017).

Brett Thorpe (Corporate and Securities) received a J.D. from Duke University School of Law (2019) and a B.A. in English Literature from Brigham Young University (2016). He previously served as an Intern for the Honorable Christine M. Durham, Utah Supreme Court (2017) and for the Utah Attorney General in the Civil Appeals Division (2017).

Jake Winslett (Trial) received a J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law (2019) and a B.S., with honors, in Advertising with a minor in Government from The University of Texas (2016). He previously served as a Judicial Intern for Senior Judge A. Joe Fish, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas (2017) and the Honorable Amos L. Mazzant, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas (2017).

Houston Office

David J. Diddell (Corporate and Securities) received a J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center (2019); an M.S. in Marketing from Texas A&M University (2013); and a B.S., magna cum laude, in Marketing from St. Cloud State University (2009). He previously held multiple positions at Halliburton, including Marketing Manager, Senior Marketing Specialist, and Graduate Marketing Intern (2013-2016).

Austin Jacobs (Finance) received a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School (2019) and a B.A., with Plan II honors, in Economics, with honors, with a minor in Business Administration from The University of Texas (2013). He previously served as a Summer Law Clerk for the Honorable Frances H. Stacy, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas (2017), and an Associate Relationship Manager at Frost Bank (2015-2016).

Cameron Rivers (Bankruptcy and Restructuring) received a J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law (2019), an M.A. in Sociology from the University of Houston (2015), and a B.A. in Sociology from Texas A&M University (2009). He previously served as a Federal Judicial Intern for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas (2017) and as an Intern with the Texas Access to Justice Commission (2017).

Madeline Tansey (Trial) received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Baylor Law School (2019) and a B.B.A., magna cum laude, in Management from Texas A&M University (2016).
