Dallas – Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Matthew H. Swerdlow has been appointed to the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He will serve a one-year term, which began August 20, 2015.
Swerdlow is an Associate in the Real Estate and Banking Practice Group of the Firm’s Dallas office. He focuses his practice on real estate and banking matters representing purchasers, owners, and developers in connection with the acquisition, disposition, and development of a variety of types of improved and unimproved real property; and he represents lenders and borrowers in connection with lending transactions secured by or involving real estate, including retail, office, and multifamily projects and related personal property. His experience also includes the representation of lenders in sales of bank-owned property.
In addition to his involvement with the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, Swerdlow serves as Trustee of the Dallas Rotary Club Foundation; and a member of The Real Estate Council, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Dallas Bar Association – Real Property and Energy Law Sections, and State Bar of Texas.
