Dallas – The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Mackenzie S. Wallace has been elected President-Elect of the Federal Bar Association (“FBA”) – Dallas Chapter. Prior to being named President-Elect, Mackenzie served as Vice President.
Wallace is an Associate in Thompson & Knight’s Trial Practice Group in the Firm’s Dallas office. She focuses her practice on federal and state trial actions involving securities, financial institutions, energy, healthcare, aviation, and general business and commercial litigation. She also represents clients in corporate and shareholder rights, director and officer litigation, merger litigation, and white collar litigation. Wallace has been selected for inclusion in Texas Rising Stars® by Thomson Reuters (2016).
In addition to her involvement with the FBA, she is active in a number of civic and professional organizations. For example, Wallace chaired the Walk for Wishes 2016 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and also serves on its Dallas Area Regional Advisory Council. In addition, she is Co-Chair of the Ask-A-Lawyer Committee and a member of the Freedom Run Committee for Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. She is a member of the Young Lawyer Committee for Texas Association of Defense Counsel (“TADC”) and National Center for State Courts; and she is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar, and Women’s Energy Network.
