T&K Attorneys Mentioned in Law360 on Houston Drainage Suit

“Houston Asks For Gov’t Immunity In Drainage Fee Suit”

The city of Houston and the director of its public works agency on Thursday asked the Texas Supreme Court to affirm a lower appellate court’s decision to grant governmental immunity in a suit brought by apartment complexes and railway companies, which are challenging a municipal drainage fee they say is unfairly high.

The property owners are represented by James B. Harris, Stephen F. Fink, Debora B. Alsup and Richard B. Phillips Jr. of Thompson & Knight LLP.
