T&K Attorneys Selected to Join The Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court

Dallas – The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce The Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court has selected Janelle L. Davis as a barrister and Catherine W. Clemons as an associate. Davis will serve a three year term and Clemons will serve a one year team, both of which begin in September 2016.

Davis is a Partner in Thompson & Knight’s Trial Practice Group in the Firm’s Dallas office. She represents clients before federal and state trial courts and has tried numerous jury cases, in both civil and criminal court. She focuses her practice on litigation and counseling on matters involving antitrust, advertising, aviation, products liability, and other complex business litigation and complex commercial disputes, including class actions. Davis has been selected for inclusion in Texas Rising Stars® by Thomson Reuters (2013-2016). In addition to her involvement with The Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court, she is an active member of the American, Texas, and Dallas Bar Associations; DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar; and the International and Texas Associations of Defense Counsel. Davis also serves as a Board Member of the Foundation for Women & Girls with Blood Disorders.

Clemons is an Associate in Thompson & Knight’s Trial Practice Group in the Firm’s Dallas office. She focuses her practice on complex business litigation, commercial litigation, and dispute resolution. Her experience includes conducting sensitive internal investigations and representing clients in federal and state courts in disputes related to breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, fraud, conspiracy, and unfair competition. In addition to her involvement with The Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court, she is an active member of the Texas and Dallas Bar Associations; Texas Associations of Defense Counsel; and Texas and Dallas Associations of Young Lawyers. Clemons also serves as a member of the Executive Board of Directors for Rainbow Days.
