Dallas – The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to welcome Sarah Bawany Yousuf as Counsel in the Employment and Labor Practice Group in the Firm’s Dallas office.

Ms. Yousuf focuses her practice on employment and labor matters. Her experience includes representing and advising clients in various stages of litigation and administrative proceedings. She provides counsel to employers concerning personnel and employee relations matters, including discrimination claims before the EEOC, state and municipal agencies, and state and federal courts; wage and hour claims; and claims arising out of restrictive covenants in employment agreements. Ms. Yousuf also has handled pro bono immigration matters.
Admitted to practice in California, New York, and Texas, she received a J.D. from University of San Diego School of Law in 2003, and a B.A., magna cum laude, in Communication with a minor in Studio Art from the University of California – San Diego in 2000. Yousuf served as a Law Clerk in the Office of the U.S. Attorney, Civil Division – Southern District of California in 2003 and most recently served as a volunteer attorney at Human Rights Initiative in Dallas. She is a member of the American, New York, Dallas, and Dallas Asian American Bar Associations.
