Dallas – Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Counsel Robert Vartabedian and Associate Conrad D. Hester have joined the Firm’s Fort Worth office in the Trial Practice Group.

Vartabedian represents oil and gas companies in a wide variety of disputes such as lease termination litigation, other trespass to try title claims, claims for breaches of implied covenants to an oil and gas lease, contract interpretation issues, oilfield accidents, royalty disputes, suits for breaches of joint operating agreements, and surface use disputes. He has also handled numerous appeals for oil, gas, and energy clients in various Texas courts and the Fifth Circuit. Consistently recognized for his legal skills, Vartabedian has been selected for inclusion in Texas Rising Stars® by Thomson Reuters (2011-2015). Prior to joining Thompson & Knight, he was Of Counsel at Winstead P.C. in Fort Worth.
Hester focuses his practice on oil, gas, and energy law. His oil and gas expertise includes contract disputes, royalty litigation, lease termination suits, drafting and negotiating agreements regarding acquisition, exploration and production, and title examinations. He also represents oil and gas clients and clients in other industries in a variety of bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining Thompson & Knight, Hester was an attorney at Brown & Fortunato, P.C. in Amarillo.
