Dallas – Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce the Firm has been named as a finalist for Houston Business Journal’s (“HBJ”) 2015 Deals of the Year. Thompson & Knight was involved in two of the deals named as finalists, one in Banking & Finance and one in Energy.
“Prosperity Buys Tradition Bank” is named as one of five Banking & Finance deal finalists. Thompson & Knight served as legal counsel for Tradition Bank, led by Houston Partner Annette L. Tripp. “Enterprise Buys Eagle Ford Assets for $2.15 Billion” is named as one of 10 Energy deal finalists. Thompson & Knight was legal adviser for Reliance on midstream matters, led by Arthur J. Wright, Gaye White, and Timothy T. Samson.
All of the finalists signify major developments and investments in the Houston area and are featured in the HBJ’s Dec. 11 edition. To qualify, a deal had to close or break ground in 2015. A panel of judges selected the finalists and winners. Winners will be announced at HBJ’s Deals of the Year Awards gala on Jan. 21 at the Four Seasons Hotel. To learn more, click here.
