Dallas – The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce that Nicole Williams has been appointed Chair of the Dallas Bar Association (“DBA”) Antitrust and Trade Regulation Section. She will serve a one-year term beginning January 1, 2015 and previously served in the role from 2012-2013.
Williams is a Partner in the Trial Practice Group of Thompson & Knight’s Dallas office, and focuses her practice on litigation and counseling on matters involving antitrust, advertising, RICO, gaming, banking, title curative issues, and other complex commercial disputes and government investigations. She represents clients before federal and state trial and appellate courts as well as in arbitration proceedings.
In addition to her role as Chair, Williams serves as Co-Vice-Chair for the Summer Law Intern Committee of the DBA’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Section. She also fosters the development of Dallas youth as a Mock Trial Coach at James Madison High School and is a member of the Executive Board of Directors for Rainbow Days. An active participant in legal and professional organizations, Williams is a member of the Antitrust & Business Litigation Council for the State Bar of Texas and a member of the American and Dallas Bar Associations. She has been selected for inclusion in Texas Super Lawyers® by Thomson Reuters (2014) and Best Lawyers Under 40 in Dallas by D Magazine (2006).
