Dallas – The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Cassandra G. Mott has been elected to the Association for Corporate Growth (“ACG”) Global Board of Directors as Director at Large. She will serve a one-year term of office beginning on September 1, 2015.
The ACG is an international association of middle market private equity professionals, investment bankers, lenders, and corporate leaders. Mott is currently a Board Member of the Houston Chapter of the ACG and recently completed her service as its President for 2013-2014. She also is co-chairing both the 2015 and 2016 ACG Texas Capital Connections (“TACC”). TACC is an annual event hosted by the Texas Chapters of the ACG and draws more than 1,400 attendees from across the United States to facilitate deal making.
Mott is a Partner in the Firm’s Houston office in the Finance Practice Group. She represents lenders and borrowers in middle market finance transactions across a vast array of industries, including energy, healthcare, insurance, consumer products, and manufacturing. She has structured, negotiated, and documented senior, subordinated, and mezzanine financing facilities of many types, including single, “club” and multi-bank, syndicated, general working capital, investment-grade credit, asset-based, cash flow, first lien and second lien, and multijurisdictional and multicurrency facilities.
