Dallas – Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Jennifer Rudenick Ecklund has joined the Board of Directors for Café Momentum, a non-profit organization that provides young men and women coming out of juvenile facilities with a 12-month paid, post-release internship program focusing on all aspects of the restaurant business.
Ms. Ecklund is a Partner in the Trial Practice Group of Thompson & Knight’s Dallas office where she focuses her practice on litigation and dispute resolution, representing clients before state and federal trial courts. She practices primarily in the healthcare, complex commercial litigation, and white collar litigation sections. Since the inception of Café Momentum in 2011 and its restaurant doors opening in January 2015, nearly 400 at-risk youth have been involved with Café Momentum. While serving more than 15,000 diners, these young men and women have acquired professional, transferable job skills within the restaurant business, while bonding with case managers and gaining the knowledge that success is attainable.
