T&K Partner Named Member of Greater Houston Partnership’s Executive Women’s Partnership

Dallas – The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Cassandra Mott has been selected for membership in the Greater Houston Partnership’s (“GHP”) Executive Women’s Partnership (“EWP”). EWP is one of Houston’s most prestigious and effective networking groups for female senior executives providing an opportunity to form close relationships while continuing to grow, both professionally and personally.

The criteria for EWP membership are focused on attracting women who have reached the senior ranks of their executive management team and who are responsible for a major portion of their company’s business. Members include top female executives of companies with revenues of $100 million or greater.

Mott is a Finance Partner in the Firm’s Houston office. She represents lenders, borrowers, issuers, underwriters and trustees in a variety of commercial transactions, including public and private debt offerings. Her transactional experience spans a vast array of industries, including energy, healthcare, insurance, consumer products, and manufacturing. She has structured, negotiated, and documented senior, subordinated, and mezzanine financing facilities of many types, including single, “club” and multi-bank, syndicated, general working capital, investment-grade credit, asset-based, cash flow, first lien and second lien, unitranche, and multijurisdictional and multicurrency facilities. She also advises clients on intercreditor matters, helping them structure and negotiate transactions with multiple debt tranches and lien priorities. Mott has been honored by numerous publications, including The Legal 500 US by Legalease (2013), Chambers USA by Chambers & Partners (2012-2013), and Texas Super Lawyers® by Thomson Reuters (2013-2015).

In addition to her involvement with EWP, Mott serves on the Global Board of the Association for Corporate Growth and is past president of the Houston Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. She is co-chairing the 2016 Texas ACG Capital Connection. She also serves on the Board of The Woods Project.
