T&K Partner Receives “Dallas Top 50 Women Lawyers Award” from Texas Diversity Council

Dallas – The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Adrienne E. Dominguez has been honored by the Texas Diversity Council with the “Dallas Top 50 Women Lawyers Award.” The award recognizes women who have made a difference through their achievements and exemplify the ability to excel in the legal arena. Award recipients were honored this morning at the 2017 Dallas Legal Diversity Week Awards Breakfast at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Dallas.

Ms. Dominguez is a Partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Thompson & Knight’s Dallas office where she focuses her practice on intellectual property and commercial litigation. She has represented national clients in cases involving patent and copyright infringement claims, with particular expertise in patent infringement damages. In addition, she has litigated complex commercial matters involving theft of trade secrets, recovery of health care benefits, and antitrust, class action, and breach of contract lawsuits. Recognized for her legal work, Ms. Dominguez has been selected for inclusion in Texas Super Lawyers® by Thomson Reuters (2017) and Best Lawyers in Dallas by D Magazine (2016-2017).
A champion of diversity and inclusion, Ms. Dominguez serves as President of the Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation; a member of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association and the Hispanic National Bar Association; the Chair of Thompson & Knight’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee; and Co-Chair of Thompson & Knight’s Women’s Initiative Group. In addition, she has served as a Fellow for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (2013) and a member of the Steering Committee for the Texas Minority Counsel Program of the State Bar of Texas (2014-2015). In addition to her work on diversity and inclusion, she is Past President and current Co-Chair of the Schools and Scholarships Committee for the Harvard Club of Dallas, a Founding Member of the Young Leader’s Board of the YWCA of Metropolitan Dallas, and a Fellow of the Dallas Bar Foundation. She is a member of the American and Dallas Bar Associations, Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar.
