Dallas – The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Janelle L. Davis has been selected as a member of the Baylor Health Care System (“Baylor”) Foundation Advisory Board of Directors. Ms. Davis will serve a three year term beginning July 1, 2017.
Ms. Davis is a Partner in Thompson & Knight’s Trial Practice Group in the Firm’s Dallas office. She represents clients before federal and state trial courts and has tried numerous jury cases, in both civil and criminal court. She focuses her practice on litigation and counseling on matters involving antitrust, advertising, aviation, products liability, and other complex business litigation and complex commercial disputes, including class actions. Ms. Davis has been selected for inclusion in Texas Rising Stars® by Thomson Reuters (2013-2017) and named Top 50 Texas Women Up-and-Coming Attorneys and Top 100 Texas Up-and-Coming Attorneys Texas Super Lawyers® by Thomson Reuters (2017). In addition to her involvement with Baylor, she is an active member of the American, Texas, and Dallas Bar Associations; DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar; and the International and Texas Associations of Defense Counsel. Also, Ms. Davis is a Barrister of The Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court, and she serves as a Board Member of the Foundation for Women & Girls with Blood Disorders.
