Dallas – The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce the Firm has been selected as a 2018 Compass Award winner by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (“LCLD”) for its participation in and support of LCLD’s mission. The Compass Award, new in 2018, recognizes those individuals and organizations that demonstrate their continued commitment to building more diverse organizations and a more inclusive legal profession by attending the LCLD Annual Meeting, participating in the LCLD Fellows and Pathfinder programs, and participating in an LCLD Pipeline program such as the 1L Scholars Program or the Success in Law School Mentoring Program.
This year, Partner Vishal Patel is Thompson & Knight’s LCLD Fellow. Past LCLD Fellows from Thompson & Knight include Nicole Williams, Gregory D. Binns, Adrienne E. Dominguez, Vivian M. Arias, and Demetra L. Liggins, who currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the LCLD Fellows Alumni. Associate Jasmine Wynton is the Firm’s first LCLD Pathfinder.
