T&K Welcomes Real Estate Associate

Dallas – Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Erin Marino has joined the Firm’s Dallas office as an Associate in the Real Estate and Banking Practice Group.

Ingrum, the Firm’s Real Estate and Banking Practice Leader. “We look forward to working with Erin to continue to deliver our nationally recognized real estate counsel to our valued clients.”

Ms. Marino focuses her practice on complex commercial real estate transactions with an emphasis on real estate finance, acquisitions, and dispositions. She has represented developers, owners, landlords, tenants, and lenders on various types of real estate matters including, multi-family, mixed-used, unimproved land, hotels, office buildings, and medical properties. Ms. Marino also advises clients on general commercial, construction, and real estate litigation, including receiverships, foreclosures, landlord‐tenant disputes, evictions, lockouts, and lien priority cases.

She received a J.D. and B.C.L. from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2007 and was a member of the Louisiana Law Review and The Order of the Coif. Ms. Marino received a B.S., cum laude, in Accounting from Louisiana State University in 2004. She also served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Catherine D. Kimball, Louisiana Supreme Court in New Orleans (2007-2008). 

An active participant in civic and community organizations, she is a member of the Texas, Louisiana, and Dallas Bar Associations; Commercial Real Estate Women – Dallas; The Real Estate Council; and Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. Ms. Marino also serves on the Board of Directors for Friends of the Santa Fe Trail. Prior to joining the Firm, she practiced as an Associate at Jones Day in Dallas (2012-2016) and McGuire, Craddock & Strother, P.C. in Dallas (2008-2012). She is licensed to practice in Texas and Louisiana.
