Dallas – Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Alix D. Allison has joined the Firm’s Fort Worth office as an Associate in the Trial Practice Group.

Ms. Allison focuses her practice on litigation and dispute resolution. She received a J.D., magna cum laude, from Texas Tech University School of Law in 2014 and a B.A., summa cum laude, in Psychology from Angelo State University in 2011. Ms. Allison served as an Intern in the Family Violence and Felony Units at the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office in 2012 and 2013, as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Justice Lee Gabriel for the Second Court of Appeals of Texas in Fort Worth in 2013, and as a Federal Law Clerk to the Honorable Reed C. O’Connor for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas in Fort Worth from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Allison is actively involved in professional organizations. She serves as an Associate Member of the Eldon B. Mahon Inn of Court, a volunteer attorney for Tarrant County Volunteer Attorney Services, Social Media Director for the Tarrant County Bar Association Women Attorneys Section, and a member of the State Bar of Texas Standing Committee on Women in the Profession.
Immediately prior to joining Thompson & Knight, Ms. Allison was an Associate at Cantey Hanger LLP in Fort Worth.
