Experience

Brooke Sizer focuses her practice on oil and gas transactions, with particular experience in acquisitions and divestitures. She also assists clients in drafting and reviewing joint operating agreements, pooling and unitization agreements, deeds, assignments, and other commercial agreements. Additionally, Brooke advises on various issues associated with the exploration and development of oil and gas as well as prepares original drilling title opinions, acquisition opinions, and division order title opinions.

Brooke is Board Certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

  • Assisted in the representation of Seller in the divestiture of more than 20,000 net mineral acres in Roosevelt County, New Mexico
  • Assisted in the representation of Seller in the divestiture of producing oil and gas properties in the SCOOP play in Oklahoma
  • Assisted in the representation of Seller in the divestiture of both developed and undeveloped acreage in East Texas
  • Assisted in the representation of Buyer in the acquisition of producing oil and gas assets in the Delaware Basin
  • Assisted in the representation of Seller in the divestiture of more than 20,000 net mineral acres in South Texas Eagle Ford
  • Assisted in the representation of Buyer in the acquisition of $15 million in producing properties in Burleson County, Texas.
  • Assisted in the representation of Buyer in the acquisition of more than 6,000 net mineral acres in South Texas Eagle Ford
  • Assisted in the representation of Buyer in the acquisition of approximately 7,000 net acres and 30 producing wells in South Texas Eagle Ford
