Catherine Barbaree focuses her practice on employment-related litigation.

Representative Matters

  • Represent employers in litigation matters involving allegations of discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, ERISA violations, negligent hiring/supervision/retention, breach of contract, covenants not-to-compete, and tortious interference
  • Defend employers against charges of discrimination filed with federal and state agencies, including conducting fact-finding investigations, investigating claims and available defenses, drafting position statements, drafting dispositive motions, objecting and responding to requests for discovery, and preparing settlement agreements
  • Counsel and advise employers on relevant statutes and laws including Title VII, the TCHRA, FLSA, ADEA, and ERISA
