Jennifer Henry focuses her practice on business, aviation, and product liability litigation. Her expertise includes representing parties in partnership disputes and other commercial matters, representing commercial airlines in litigation arising from air crash accidents, representing product manufacturers in product liability litigation, and representing corporate insureds seeking insurance coverage for various claims.

Representative Matters

  • Represented several commercial airlines in multi-district litigation proceedings defending personal injury suits arising from air crash accidents and other accidents resulting in serious injuries
  • Represented major airline in defending dram shop claim; claims dismissed after summary-judgment motion based on federal preemption was filed
  • Represent an ambulatory surgery center in a contractual dispute with physician-limited partners regarding the enforceability of a restrictive covenant not to compete contained in the partnership agreement
  • Represented a rehabilitation hospital in a contractual dispute with a physicians group regarding a program medical director agreement
  • Represented a pharmaceutical manufacturer as local counsel in defending numerous product liability claims asserted once a particular medication was withdrawn from sale to the general market
  • Represented parties with ownership interests in several shopping centers in partnership disputes, title disputes, and claims with contractors, including obtaining a temporary injunction and turnover of funds from one of the general partners
  • Represented an insured in a first-party claim for coverage under a war-risk policy for damages incurred as a result of September 11, 2001; resolved to the client’s satisfaction
  • Represented a medical device manufacturer in defending numerous product liability claims filed after certain lots of the product were voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer; many of the claims were disposed of by summary judgment
