John Cohn assists multinational corporations, national oil companies, small businesses, and individuals in developing and implementing tax-efficient international business structures. He advises and counsels U.S. entities on expanding business internationally, guides foreign companies and persons on doing business in the United States, and negotiates international energy acquisitions and dispositions. John is highly regarded for his ability to identify and present in an accessible manner the significant aspects of a complex situation, providing his clients with practical solutions to complicated tax and structuring issues. John’s expertise also includes tax and transactional counsel on Latin American, African, and Asian energy projects.
