Nick Davis represents clients in complex disputes, trials, and arbitrations. He has significant experience handling litigated matters involving the oil and gas industry, trade secret misappropriation, securities and investment fraud, class actions, and various contract and commercial matters. Nick thrives in disputes involving the most complicated of transactions and has a knack for resolving his cases—whether through pre-trial motions, settlement, or trial and appeal—efficiently and effectively.

Nick began his career in New York, where he litigated the 2008 financial crisis, the Madoff Ponzi scheme, and half-billion-dollar insurance coverage cases. Since moving home to Texas, he has gained extensive experience in oil and gas litigation, including title disputes, and maintains an active practice in New York in complex commercial matters.

  • Represented 45 insurance companies in a multi-million-dollar asbestos coverage suit against major multi-national petrochemical company; assisted in securing a favorable settlement
  • Represented large London-based insurer in coverage litigation against multi-billion-dollar manufacturer of gaming and lottery terminals concerning hundreds of millions of dollars in false-winning jackpots
  • Represented large London-based insurer in coverage case concerning vicarious and contributory liability of major internet service provider for copyright infringement
