Patrick Bredehoft focuses his litigation practice on healthcare and commercial disputes. He maintains an active trial and arbitration practice, having secured significant settlements, judgments, and awards for plaintiffs and defendants nationwide. He represents healthcare providers, including hospital systems and hospitals, medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, physicians, and long-term care facilities. Patrick has significant experience litigating healthcare disputes involving managed care, billing and reimbursement, qui tam and false claims, healthcare fraud, and malpractice. He also litigates complex commercial matters, including contract, tort, employment, and business disputes. Patrick advises his clients on government investigations and on regulatory, compliance, and reimbursement issues, including issues involving ERISA, Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statute.

- Represented hospital systems in managed care and reimbursement disputes against commercial/government insurers and payors
- Represented hospital systems and healthcare providers in disputes over alleged overbilling and fraudulent billing practices
- Represented pharmaceutical manufacturer in national drug pricing, rebate, and overpayment disputes
- Managed hospital contract litigation for a national hospital company, including disputes related to hospital services agreements, physician recruitment agreements, provider employment agreements, medical director agreements, lease agreements, non-competition and non-solicitation covenants, peer review matters, and privacy issues
- Represented hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and physicians in commercial contract, tort, non-competition, real estate, and partnership buyout disputes
- Represented healthcare providers in malpractice, wrongful death, and premises liability disputes
- Advised healthcare providers on operational and compliance issues, including compliance with Stark Law and the Anti-Kickback Statue, Value Based Purchasing, Core Measures, advanced directives, medical records disclosure and privacy, medical staff relations, and policies and procedures
- Represented national real estate broker on broker and agency litigation matters involving negligence, fraud, and breaches of fiduciary duty
