For many years, we have represented life insurance companies and other lenders in mortgage lending transactions, including most major banks in Texas. We have worked with several clients in conduit loans and securitized lending transactions. One of our Partners previously worked as in-house counsel for the securitized lending arm of a large New York investment banking entity.

  • Represented a national bank in a $750 million loan secured by a portfolio of industrial, retail, hospitality, office, and multifamily projects
  • Represented a large bank with the synthetic leasing of a $500 million corporate headquarters of a Fortune 500 company
  • Represented a lender in a $290 million construction loan to redevelop a regional mall and negotiate leases for anchor locations
  • Represented a lender in a $238 million loan secured by a 1.3 million-square-foot mixed-use development consisting of retail, office, and industrial assets in Hawaii
  • Represented the agent for seven different lenders in a $198.8 million construction loan for development of Amazon’s new corporate offices in Seattle, Washington
  • Represented the syndication agent in a $182 million bridge loan concerning five senior housing facilities in five states
  • Represented the agent bank in a $161 million syndicated construction loan facility on a retail shopping center in Texas, and subsequent workout of the construction loan facility
  • Represented a lender in connection with a $134 million loan for the construction of a condominium project in Texas to be comprised of a boutique hotel, luxury residential condominium units, restaurants, and retail shops
  • Represented a landowner in a $125 million construction loan with a publicly-financed bond component
  • Represented a senior lender in a $116 million construction loan concerning a retail, residential, and office building in Dallas, Texas
  • Represented a senior lender in the origination of five multifamily/student housing construction loans totaling $111 million
  • Represented a national bank in connection with a $110.5 million loan to seven borrowers secured by six properties in Pennsylvania
  • Represented a national bank in connection with three “synthetically crossed” loans in the aggregate amount of $105 million secured by medical office buildings in New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island
  • Represented a national lender in a $100 million loan secured by an industrial portfolio in various states
  • Represented a senior lender in an $80 million refinance and workout of senior housing properties located in seven states
  • Represented a lender over a three-year period in the sale of 534 commercial loans (18 individual sales, seven pool sales) across the country covering all types of collateral ranging from land, yachts, airplanes, inventory, vacation homes, offices, and shopping centers
  • Represented major insurance companies in providing permanent financing for real estate projects in Texas
  • Assisted with securing project financing for a developer responsible for one of the largest land assemblages in the history of Dallas County
