Dallas - The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Lisa Thompkins has been selected to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (“LCLD”) Pathfinder Program. Pathfinder is designed to provide diverse, high-potential, early career attorneys with practical tools for developing and leveraging relationship building skills, foundational leadership skills, and career development strategies.
Ms. Thompkins is an Associate in the Firm’s Houston office. She focuses her practice on corporate and securities transactions. Ms. Thompkins is a member of the National, American, and Houston Bar Associations. She will serve as Thompson & Knight’s second participant in the Pathfinder Program. Jasmine S. Wynton, a Trial Associate in the Firm’s Dallas office, participated in the Pathfinder Program in 2017.
Founded in 2009, LCLD is a growing organization of more than 285 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who are personally committed to creating a truly diverse legal profession. The LCLD Pathfinder Program is now in its third year as a full-scale program, having been piloted in 2015 among a select number of LCLD member law firms and corporations. It is an initiative that has filled a gap in LCLD programming, targeting junior associates and the youngest members of corporate law departments. For information, visit www.lcldnet.org.
