T&K Attorney Achieves LEED® Green Associate Credential

The global law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to congratulate Ashley T.K. Phillips for achieving the LEED® Green Associate credential. The LEED® Green Associate credential was created by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) within the framework of the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Building Rating Systems™.

Ms. Phillips is a member of the Environmental Practice Group in the Firm's Austin office where she focuses her practice on environmental regulatory matters. Her experience includes compliance counseling, environmental management system development, environmental risk assessment, handling administrative enforcement cases, and working with private and governmental (including federal, state, and local) entities to develop and implement voluntary emission-reduction initiatives. Ms. Phillips has advised clients on federal, state, and local regulatory requirements associated with air emissions, industrial and hazardous waste, water quality, underground storage tanks, endangered species, and Superfund sites.

LEED® Professional Credentials recognize a thorough understanding of green building technologies, best practices, and the rapidly evolving LEED® Rating Systems. The LEED® Green Associate credential denotes basic knowledge of green design, construction, and operations.
