T&K Attorney Elected to Camp John Marc Board of Directors

Dallas - Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Paul K. Stafford has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors for Camp John Marc (“CJM”). He will serve a three-year term, which begins in January 2018. Mr. Stafford previously served on the CJM Board from 2004 to 2009.

Mr. Stafford is Counsel in the Trial Practice Group of Thompson & Knight’s Dallas office where he focuses his practice on complex commercial and business litigation, insurance policyholder litigation, intellectual property litigation, and cybersecurity. He received a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law (1994) and a B.S. in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Texas A&M University (1990). Since 2002, Mr. Stafford has taught courses on Insurance Law, Trial Advocacy, and Interviewing and Counseling as an Adjunct Professor at his alma mater, Texas Tech University School of Law.

In addition to his involvement with CJM, he is actively involved in civic and professional organizations. Mr. Stafford is a member of the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas and Treasurer of the Dallas Bar Association, Tort & Insurance Practice Section. He has served as the President of the J. L. Turner Legal Association (2002), a member of the Board of Trustees of the Dallas Bar Foundation (2005-2013), President of the Dallas Bar Association (2012), and as a member of several State Bar of Texas committees. He also has authored and presented numerous articles, papers, and CLE presentations on insurance, e-discovery, and litigation.
