Dallas - Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce Matthew M. Mitzner has been selected as a Board Member for Dallas Heritage Village, a museum located in Old City Park with the largest and finest collection of 19th century pioneer and Victorian homes and commercial buildings in Texas. He will serve a three-year term, which began September 28, 2017.
Mr. Mitzner is a Trial Associate in Thompson & Knight’s Dallas office where he focuses his practice on commercial litigation. He has particularly strong experience in the commercial real estate industry and general secured rights, and has represented a variety of employers, including lenders, healthcare providers, energy firms, and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) special servicers, among companies in other industries.
In addition to his involvement with Dallas Heritage Village, Mr. Mitzner is a member of the Amicus Brief Task Force for CRE Finance Council and a member of the Dallas-Fort Worth Beta Theta Pi Alumni Club. He has been selected for inclusion in Texas Rising Stars® by Thomson Reuters (2016-2017).
Dallas Heritage Village is an immersive history museum in a park-like setting with the mission to collect, preserve, and teach the history of Dallas and North Central Texas. The museum uses its collections of historic buildings and furnishings, representing the period 1840-1910, to sponsor research, publications, and exhibits, and to present educational programs and special events for diverse audiences of children, families, and adults.
