The law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce that the Thompson & Knight Foundation will receive the 2019 Visionary Award from the Retina Foundation of the Southwest. The award will be presented at the Retina Foundation’s Visionary Luncheon on March 1.
The Visionary Award is given annually to an organization in recognition of its continued support of sight-saving vision research. The Thompson & Knight Foundation has been involved with the Retina Foundation for two decades and has provided more than $76,000 in support, which has allowed the organization to conduct research to improve early and accurate detection of visual impairment, develop effective treatments, and discover ways to better track and prevent vision loss.
